Country Style, April 2022

Check out the lovely write-up about our Salt Sommelier experience in the @countrystylemag digital magazine - “8 reasons to add Freycinet, on Tasmania’s east coast, to your bucket list.”

Whilst we are not technically a part of the Freycinet Peninsula, it’s great to see we got a mention as a key establishment to visit for our Salt Sommelier experience 💙

2. TASMAN SEA SALT

Whilst not technically a part of the Freycinet Peninsula, this newly established local institution deserves a special mention. Situated back around the east coast's loop in Little Swanport, Tasman Sea Salt offers a unique experience that has been likened to a 'salt sommelier' tasting.

Owned by local Chris and London-native Alice, the company was born of a mutual love and passion for good food and artisinal produce. In harvesting one of Tasmania's most pristine natural resources, the couple have committed a strong focus to environmental sustainability, using solar and thermal energy to set themselves apart from dominant industry competitors.

Offering an immersive experience, visitors are invited on a tour of the premises before tucking into a delectable selection of small bites (many made by Alice herself) paired with four signature Tasman Sea Salt flavours.
